A new resource from the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry has much to share

Over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen individuals with disabilities, families, teachers and professionals in the field step up and do amazing things – things they may not have thought of doing pre-pandemic.  It is happening across the country in every setting: schools, organizations supporting people with disabilities, state governments, and more. People are finding unique, creative, and genuine opportunities.

Celebrating these acts, both large and small, is the goal of a new website, Our Covid-19 Stories.  Started by the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, the page pulls together a wide group of organizations to share these stories.

On this platform, groups and individuals share stories that give us hope and inspire us to try something different. How can we think positively about the future? What have we learned during this time, and how can we apply it to our everyday lives? Additionally, it is also a great reminder to recognize what you and others around you are doing that is amazing – and thank them

Quillo is incredibly pleased to be supporting this effort. Recently, I was happy to record four short stories from around the country to contribute to this effort, and we are excited to have them included on the website. Visit Our Covid-19 Stories for more.

If you have stories you want to share or to become a supporter, contact [email protected].

Thank you for what you do every step of the way.

Wishing health and safety to you and those around you.

John
